For the last few years, my time has been spent with my late wife's medical problems. I have been attempting to get either of two cars together, and I haven't made much headway on either one. A couple of weeks ago, I bit the bullet and did what I should have done long ago. I bought a nice '48 Coupe that I can drive (as soon as I get the brakes done). The car had been sitting for a couple of years and would run with a hose from a gas can to the carburetor. We fixed a couple of leaks in the gas line and replaced the fuel pump, and now she starts on first try without the choke. It's not the Model A RPU that I'm still trying to get built, but it's nice and my daughter approves. If any of you think you recognize it, @56don sold it to me.

Congrats - great body style - if no funds for dropped front axle and have someone close that does spring work can go for a reversed eye main with second and fourth leaf from top removed can take it down a bit and still clear tires - gas rear shocks for a early 60's Corvette can be run up front for some low comfort

Congrats Alan! That is fantastic. Any chance you could bring it down for Moonshine Fest weekend in October? We have several traditional events happening that weekend. I would love to see it.

Very tasty! They actually drive quite well and do a good job keeping up with modern traffic within reason. Agree with the duals then drive the **** out of it! Mark
