I am looking for the bolt size for the windshield hinge to the body, I can’t seem to find the ones I took out which was the original style bolts, does any one know what size these are so I can run down to hardware store and grab some
1932-36 Closed Cars are #12 -24 x 5/8 binding head screws plus shake proof washer. Would ***ume Pickups the same.
Number 12 screws dropped in popularity after Henry Ford died. No idea why he was keen on them. Must have had a patent or something.
They are the size between #10 and 1/4". Ford wasn't the only guy to use them. No reason the hardware stores shouldn't stock them....but, most don't.
Mc master Carr any way any material https://www.mcmaster.com/products/screws/thread-size~12-24/rounded-head-screws~/
