There was recently a collection of old Bonneville pictures for sale. I got half of them. But I copied pictures of all of them because they rule. I don’t know who to credit for them but they were taken by an individual there. Enjoy!
Boy are these neat!! Looks like the Kenz and Leslie streamliner is in that group with the '54 and '56 paint scheme.
Great picture's just last month I recall seeing a few of the cars in the pictures in Wendover. Would love to hear the story about the twin ARDUN powered car. Ronnieroadster
@unclescooby Glad you were able to get them, I was unable to bid due to the shipping settings from seller. I did get the drag strip photo contact sheets so happy with that. Great shot of Don Waite T.
299 channelled '30 roadster belonged to Wesley Bevly Jr from TX. Was Cadillac powered, cool you have an interior shot of it. 121D obviously is Niekamp/Peterson T 73a T roadster was run by Harold Johansen. Riley topped Banger Amazing lot of pics from 1956 & 1954? So you got the '54 only?
This is how the Bevly Jr roadster looked in 1955 when Bill Stovall owned it and powered by an Olds V8. Car was later featured in Rod & Custom, January 1957.
Thanks for posting! Historical gold! When I saw 1954 in the title, I was hoping for my favorite 39 Ford coupe to show up, and I wasn't disappointed.
What a set. I was also eying those on eBay and I'm glad they went to a good home. This one has @BigJoeArt written all over it. And this car made me think of @Malcolm's after his post in the roll bar thread earlier this week.
