Yes, it'll be removed, it was there to keep the window opening from changing shape during the chop.

Why are you guys wearing tennis shoes while welding??

I've been working construction and machanics for 55 years and have seen so many accidents. More importantly, I've seen so many guys saved from wearing proper protective gear. Not trying to sound like some kind of whoa-daddy but I hate to see young folks loose important body parts like a foot or a head :D..

    Happy Motoring..

The photo is one of the places that I worked for five years.

I agree! It's sitting in storage at the moment. I'd love to see some progress, but it's not my car... It is in the building that my shop is in, so it has to listen to everything else get worked on... And a lot of ZZ TOP.

    ☝️See reply... How ya been?
    See photos... Take care! IMG_20240910_103250.jpg IMG_20240910_103155.jpg IMG_20240910_101918.jpg

I've got another 25 chop classes under my belt since the class on this Oldsmobile, and moved to Missouri thanks to multiple situations. My shop is pretty much set up and I'm excited to get work out the door! Still doing chop classes from West Coast to East Coast, even in Florida! I just hosted an Auto Body Experience at my shop in Missouri.

Get a spot in a class near you while ya can!

Great metal work! Any dead on side shots? I have a '51 Pontiac sedanette and finding chopped examples isn't easy.
