  1. Yikes . . . that is a bad day at the track for sure . . . but nobody was hurt. Mechanical things can always be recreated - humans, not so much!

From what I could see on the video, lots looked like a melt-down contest on the line.

I see no rubber streaks in the street. Neighbors must hate you think your nuts. If I was there would come running to see what you doing. Will have to post pictures of my driveway ( burn out box )..

    Cool video Carl :)

I have sympathy for every creaking joint and aching bone getting into and out of the FED. They are not an easy thing to get into.

    Cheers,
    Harv

  10. Yea Harv its getting worse as I get older hope to be still running her till I'm 90 but it sure is getting to be a struggle these 80 year ol bones and fat ain't what they used to be. Need a younger skinnier driver that's why I'm shifting most of the driving duties to a friend of mines son a 21 year old 140 lb.er

Ya ain't running any water in that thing. Why not just mill a pair out of solid bar stock or cast a set of your own? Just saying you have the technology....... I know Carl, it's easy for me to say.

  22. Did you TIG weld the crack up? Looks like it was a real mess! ;) Glad you got it back together!

  23. Na Dale it was too bad and cracked in three other places. Got an old Weiand 8ba from a buddy of mine for free and all I had to do was hog it out to match my other head, new Cometic gasket and off we go. Next step is to order some 2" blanks and make my own B&B heads.........
