You know, it seems this is an impossible venture.

Anyone seen any in any of your personal "stash" kinda places around the USA?

Even a 33 or so dodge cab would be fine...

  2. Man, a guy was going to Rhinebeck and some other shows here with a 34-36 IH 1-ton dump with a complete cab and nose he wanted like $500 for. The yard I'm in now, they s****ped some 30's Dodge cabs in the spring. Still a '35 Ford left but nothing that era IH. My friend has a '34-35 IH pickup that's set up as a rod with a 350 Chevy motor and so on, needs to be finished, but he's looking for $7500 out of it. Solid body though.

The problem with IH's is kind of like that old joke about Austraila, people know where they are, just no one gives a damn.

Oh yeah, my buddy also knows a guy with like a '29 IH truck for sale. Really rough, not sure how much body tin to it that is any good, but it is available.

Johnny Cliche could probably connect you with Lance- he has one over in St. Paul. He actually has most of the whole truck. He just got it a few months ago and I know he's planning to build it but don't think he's started yet. It might be worth asking him about...maybe he could be persuaded to part with it or he might know where another is.

You have any idea what year Lances truck is?

I'd be down to trade my ford cab and some $$$ for the right IH cab...

That is, unless someone can tell me how to get my 37 ford cab to look like this...

I dunno... I think that's next to impossible...

  6. There's a '35 International truck up this way if you're interested.

Lance's cab is the older wood version, you definately want the later models...Jamal, it won't be too hard to chop your truck, just need some experienced guys to help you out...

    This guy has one. http://vavavoomgarage.ca
I'ts a "C" series and I think about 34 or 35. I believe it might be a 1-ton, no box. Not sure of the condition. From what I remember it is good, but can check it out for you if you are interested. I can take some pics and e-mail them to you. Bill is about 40 miles from me. He is located in southern Manitoba, just north of the border. It's about a 9 hour drive from the Twin cities. I make the trek most years for BTTF's. Crossing the border is not an issue. Rick

johnny so what if my cab has wood?.. the tin is in damn good shape and door wood has nice "patina", but your right, 35-36 has more steel in it and typically juice brakes. i plan on building mine, but might part with it for a ridiculous price. not like stuff i wanna get rid of where i dont mind sliding a good deal. i think the 34-36 ihc cabs look the best, my opinion.

I'm jambed up with my own stuff this weekend or I'd take pictures.

ebay, that's were I got mine. The 34-37 (that's the cool looking one) comes up every couple of months.

The whole truck was $700 so despite everyone bagging on ebay it's no more pricey than the cl***ifieds.

All 1934-early 1937 C series Internationals have wood in there cabs, the only difference is 1936 and 1937 have solid steel doors not wood cored doors like the earlier ones (1934-1935), IH went to a all steel cab in 1937 but in the D series (completely different then the C series). Keep your eye out they don't seem to be to hard to find i have 2 complete trucks and 3 cabs.
