I don't post much, but I follow a lot. I have been working on my 54 Customline project for over 10 years. This is probably partially why... I cut out the dash of a 56 F100 truck and modified it to fit. Also shortened the glovebox door, removed the ashtray and filled in the holes. Always liked that speedo, but a lot of work..
shortshift, 4r70w Let see some more of those other spedos! Really like how everyone has done there own mods with the guages, colors, and treatments. Sorry for the distraction.
Love the gauges - BUT....Speedo was and is working great - but the odometer has stopped working. Autometer needs me to send the speedo and the sender to see what failed. What a PIA!!

I like how you painted the white all the way to the stainless that was on the padded dashes. I like it better than the way Ford did it. I painted from the stainless to the white semi gloss black but I think I like yours better.
