Years ago I was able to scrounge up a fairly decent set of Mercury hub caps, I could find one here and one or two there but I could go home with a OK set over the weekend but in recent years every thing seems to be extremely rough and the price is high, a saw a good set but not real nice originals without a price, I ask and was shocked, he wanted a grand! Holy Cow!

In years past one of the aftermarket company's was selling a nice reproduction set but that company seems to have discontinued making & selling them. HRP

These belonged to Joeybsyc but they are long gone.

You're right, Danny, they are getting hard to find. I have two full sets of reproductions, one set on the Roadster and one set for "backup". I believe it was Vintique who was reproducing them, not to be confused with Wheels Vintique. I'm not sure if they are being done still or not. Drake carried them briefly, but I don't see them in their ads any longer. A few years ago I saw a set of originals (much heavier than repros) at Carlisle. They were "driver quality" but would have polished up decently. Guy was asking $300, I offered him $200, he wouldn't budge. In hindsight, I guess I should have stepped up and paid him his price. thumbnail.jpg FB_IMG_1525008048923 (1).jpg Don FB AS.jpg

I bought four two weeks ago at the Greenfield swap meet for $20. Guy threw the scuffs and dings in for free. Ima gonna practice on them with my Horrible Freight planishing hammer.

HRP, Are you looking for a set? I have a set of the Vintiques still in original boxes if you are interested.
