I just spotted this on a highway around Denver. Ukrop recognized it from a picture in TRJ a while back. I haven’t found anything else on the internet about it…so, is this a newly unearthed find on its way to restoration or what? Anyone know? Looks like Bob passed in 2020.

  2. Incredible! Its amazing its still intact. I'm curious if Bob Schliem owned it that whole time? Hopefully it will be restored.

I took a few shots as we passed it. Chassis appeared mostly original, as I guess it was back in the ‘60’s.

Is it just me or does the rear window opening seem to be different than the old pics? Appears it also gained a cargo light. I do like it though, it has good proportions for a car made into a truck. I also love the garage doors on the house in the early pic.

I painted my dad's garage doors like that when I was a boy...he was not impressed and made me paint them again. One color. He hampered my artistic development.

Mayne a third brake light up there?

Seeing it on a rollback makes me wonder if it's on the way to the crusher. I certainly hope not.
