So I'm supposed to pick up this Olds motor this. Do you think it's worth it? 57 Olds stroker motor. Has under 1000 mi on it. Been under a bench, covered in garage since 70's. Comes with Hildebrant starter relocate and front cover. The guy is also giving me the choice of any intake setup I want. You name it, he has it. Even a blower intake. Motor wasn't built for a blower though. Anyway, he's askin' 1,000.00 for it. Worth it. I thought it was.

I would easily pay that considering for a rebuilt stock 370 it can run a good bit more. It would be sweet with tri power or dual quads.
Has it got 1000 miles running a quarter mile at a time?

Take the blower intake with it, and you can probably sell the intake and get more than half of your investment back.

Sounds like it's probably worth it.

And ditto to Heathen's advice. Use your head!

If he has the intake set up that you want I'd grab that, you can easely dump more than 1/2 that price into a decent intake and carbs... killer price on a killer motor....
