I really enjoyed reading this thread , from the time you to doing the detective work tracing down the previous owners and their storys to the work to put together this thread and finally the care taking of the car.

Wow Greg, great history on your car and look forward to seeing it at Lugnuts and Donuts one of these days. BTW what is the story on the model A in one of the photos?

The model A in the garage? It's a 1929 with a banger, police head, Tattersfield down draft intake with a Stromberg 81, 39 trans and 16 inch Kelsey Hayes wire wheels with big and little Firestones.

A little update. Finally dropped the negatives off to have them scanned and put on a thumb drive. Will take about 2 weeks. Will post some more pics of my merc taken in the 50s!

Sorry! I must of missed your question. The rear was c notched, some leaves were removed and lowering blocks were used from what Phil told me. It was lowered 8 inches in the rear. He didn't mention anything about the front?

  19. COME ON GREG!!!! Have you lowered it yet? Is it running and driving yet? hahaha Haven't talked to you in a long time.
