Type all your words, THEN hit the enter key which will bring your cursor to the next line under all your words. Paste your photo tag. Your photo will be underneath all your words.

If you want to add some more words then hit the enter key again and type, and you can keep adding like that.

If your still having trouble....you've got my phone number, feel free to call.:D

    Nice ride

  3. Please don't make the front hirher than the back. It's too nice a car. I remember twenty years ago seeing a lot of rear leaf/front coil cars done like that and thinking,"They are either too lazy, too poor, or not talented enough to modify the the more complex front suspension. Do it right or leave it alone," I know it was done even before then, but I still don't understand it.

I wasn't seeing it till Burny and Mike posted their pix (I do love the 63 Impalas), I can't get past the red paint. Were you thinking of leaving it that color?
One of my nephews used to race a 68 Hurst Olds, but as far as I know he kept it factory-stock. It was black, and it was bad***.

    I don't think '64's had one.
    I had a '66....I miss it.:(

There is a '65 442 that I see once in a while around my area. Looks like an old drag car. It has a 425 in it and a chrome straight axle. But it's not jacked up in the front really. Maybe just an inch or two. Has blackwalls and chrome reverse wheels. Really a cool car!!

son of a.. those are my fav.

dual redlines and if you can find them, which i know you got a knack for - Fenton Roadrunners [bullet spoke mags] or even some olskool Ansen Top Eliminators [another bullet spoke type].

    ruler either way, man.

Wow, you read my mind. Although, I would run it with the cheaters all the time.

    Groucho...You *******.:D

4-4-2. the "perfect 10"...I think it should go up front AND rear- like the isky picture...here's how I did mine. (it is now nascar styled, but I had the late 60's drag car thing goin for a while, too.)

the 400 is not a whole hell of alot heavier than a s.b.c. I tracked down a set of springs from a 71 big block chevelle, and used the rear springs (cargo coils) from a 69 vista cruiser. it raised the entire profile of the car about 2 1/2 inches. (I also cheated and stuck some big honkin sway bars on it to tame the corners a bit) it handled great, and looked "yolked up."

I agree...Torque thrusts would be the bees knees. ...or (incoming!)
Cragar s.s.'s up front, and WIDE black steelies out back.
cherry bomb exhaust, and a barefoot gas pedal. (yes, I have a barefoot gas pedal in my car. hell, it's even a moon barefoot gas pedal. the old one looked like hell.)

any way you slice it,though, the wheels must be 15's. the 14's make the car look like an elephant on stilts.

hah! I need to type faster.

my Cutl*** (67) has a 425 in it...and I run different rims front and rear ( and before anyone asks, Yes, I have a full set of both.)

    Nice plan.

You owe it to the world NOT to put redlines on it and leave it alone. The only thing worse than someone telling you how to be "traditional" is someone telling you your muscle car isn't CORRECT.

I say you have two choices for making that car right. Take the stance all the way up or all the way down.

Get the front AND back up with the front a little higher, use any sort of 60s vintage mag you wish with cheater slicks on the back and reasonably skinny tires on the front. Injector stacks and fenderwell headers would be really expensive icing on the cake.

The other option is to lay the sum***** all the way out. You could go with a more trad 60s flake roof w/supremes style or I think it would be killer with more era correct musclecar cues with the only deviation from stock being that it lays frame. Body colored factory 14" steels and dog dish hubcaps are where I would go with that setup.

Just as a little background, here's a revisit of my blasphemous flaked roof, silver interiored, 500 HP '66 GTO:

As bad as it sounds now, you know damn well that's what it would have looked like when you were cruisin' Van Nuys Blvd. in the 70's!
I'll see a car running around like that once in a while now, and can't help but smile...

Nice car, I had one too. But it's kinda mid 60's muscle so I'd raise the rear with 50's MT's and a set of Crager chrome spokes or maybe even smoothies. It ain't no 64 Impala so keep the front down.I know ,I know, opinions are like ***holes and everybody's got one.Just my 2 cents
