Another Aussie car, Lyn Arrowsmith's running a 318 Poly with twin 4 barrels. Lyn still owns the car but it's now black and chopped. Again note the deep channel. Well known top quality car which has been around since the 60's.

 

The transmission in that photo ID’s the 331 hemi as part of the Chrysler A311 program, they were developing the hemi for the Indy 500. Indy 500 officials said the hemi was welcome, but at the 270 cu. in. displacement called for by the rules. At that point Chrysler declined.
