Technical 57 chevy 6 banger dual carb air filter

bought in 76 never had a v8

 

That's one that I have no idea on. The low profile says it was designed to fit under a pretty low hood.

 

Never seen that before. Any history?

 

That’s beautiful. I tried something similar on my 223 but I ran into interference issues .

 

That looks just like the stock air filter but for two carbs, did the factory ever do a Blue Flame with 2 carbs? Or maybe someone just got two tops and joined them together, what does the inside look like?

 

I thinking some kind of dual carb set up for a truck, maybe homemade but it looks factory.

 

I also wonder if it may have been built by a company like Ellis, their market was big trucks.
