I spent the first 35 years of my life in the Puget Sound region, mostly on the Bremerton/Port Orchard side, but a lot of time in Seattle/Tacoma/Puyallup. Lot's of car things to do over there, as it's a rather hobbyist friendly state, regardles of type of car. I miss cheap, rust-free older cars and no emissions or "safety" inspection to get a car registered in most of the state (and the wording in the RCWs stating quite plainly that Washington is indebted to its hobbyist community).Most years it does rain as much as people say, but not in heavy rains like the east coast gets. More of a drizzle an eigth of an inch a day on average.Nah, we just say that to keep people from coming there... I miss it and when the job situation changes, I'll go back.

You want good weather in WA? Tri-Cities is the place to go, Seattle is only 2 hours away or so.
