I'm am building a 354 hemi and I acquired a set of adjustable rocker arms. I believe they are a old set of Gotha adjustable rocker. My question is are they Gotha rocker arms and are they worth using also where do I get push rods with a cup on one end and a ball on the other end
If they were mine, and I'm no expert on these, I'd check them out well. Tap all the bolt holes, check the bushings (if these are the bushed style, mic them is they're not and if all checked out and within specs I'd use them. Me personally, I love adjustable valve trains. I've run adjustable stuff on every motor I've built, stock to just plain nasty. Anything that cuts down friction and un-needed stress I'm all for. Pontiacs respond excellently to adjustable valve trains even stock. They idle smoother, Rev faster and more importantly feel more responsive... So I vote yes.... ..
Might want to give these guys a call. I had them convert a set to adjustable a few years back. https://www.rockerarms.com/
I picked up these Gotha rockers a few years ago, but havent used them yet. There doesn't seem to be much info about these rockers.
they are like new no play at all in them . I think I am going to give them a try and measure up a set of push rods Anthony
