Any interest in the Opel GT?

Is this running AHRA or IHRA?

 

Judging from the picture I’d have to say I don’t know.

 

The crankshaft balancing guy I used in Costa Mesa ran one in Super Comp with an SBC injected. Tom Franks…moved to Idaho years ago…

 

wonder if my 6’3” would be able to fit in it?

 

My first car was a Manta A. It never ran in the few years I had it. I bought it as a barely-runner, though it was probably less than five years old. This was when I was in high school and had zero budget: all I could do was to dream about the sbc I wanted to drop in. The car eventually started to irritate my neat-freak dad, so we stripped it and sold it as spares.

There is, of course, another established approach to the Opel GT:

 

Does Troy still have that?

 

I’m not sure if he does. I haven’t seen Troy or the car in person in years. Last time I was around it might have been 30 years ago now.
