Hot Rods How about some love for the T-Bucket?

i bought this intake on impulse figuring it's better to have a dual quad and not need it than the other way around. then i thought it would be neat and oddball to run two two barrels- motorcraft/autolites no less; some guy here on the hamb did it and elsewhere so why not. i may do it at some time; plenty of cars came factory equipped with them although i don't know if any were single plane like the offy is.

Boy, this jogged the memory-cells. Not too far away, on the other side of the street, is the Snappy Lunch Cafe - the worlds' *Best!* porkchop sandwiches. Good enough for breakfast, lunch, & dinner. + a late nite snack. . Drooool... & right next to the original "Floyds' Barbershop" (Can't remember the guys name, but at 80-something, he still gave me a haircut).

The current issue of the SEMA magazine has a great story with photos from the July 1965 CAR CRAFT on the Dragmaster kit car. Turns out that Wally Parks used their frame, a Cobra motor and a Cal Automotive’glass ‘27 T body. I had a Dragmaster kit frame I traded to Bruce Crower.

That was the quickest street legal car in New Zealand, for many years.

Roger Murray in Hustler. Picture is taken at Meremere, which was called Champion Dragway back then.

And we were told that Meremere was one of only a very few tracks anywhere in the world that were built, owned and run by a hot rod club (Pukekohe Hot Rod Club)
