I cruised Bellflower Blvd a few times. Probably where the pipes got their popularity. I had the hots for a lowrider hair broad. I was always trying to find her. Bellflower Blvd, Whittier, Long Beach, some I can't remember.
Everything about it is a question. Steering wheel, headlights, cut outs for the front wheels. IOW Why?
It was a magazine project in Car Craft magazine in 1961 to illustrate what could be done with late model body parts. Bob Larivee from promotions inc (world of wheels ) hired Bill Cushenbery to bring the concept to life. the car was completed in 1963. It was an ISCA feature car for 2 years, an AMT model kit and was in the original run of hot wheels as the python.
