When I was about 8 or 9, when my dad was laid off from the steel mill, he ran a Pure station for a friend of his that owned and ran a Texaco station. I spent a good amount of time hanging out with him during the summer months. A lot of good memories there with him. But at some point he was called back to the mills. I wanted him to stay at the gas station. He obviously made the right decision but I sure missed that time at the Pure station.
I had a friend that worked at a Burger Chef. His job was to add the "secret" ingredient to the ground whatever when it came in. Being inquisitive teenagers we asked if he knew what the "secret" ingredient was? Oatmeal.
With my poor vision they looked like they could have been 57 Ford dogdish. Both are nice looking hub caps.
Not a good angle but check the hubcaps on the 59Ford wagon: Not disputing anything only trying to justify how I made the connection.
