So my father passed away a few years ago, and we located this in the garage. Thinking it went to his 1939 Chevy Master Deluxe. It appears to have a similar bolt pattern, but it’s not for his car.

Any help is appreciated as my brother and I are working to help sort things for our mother.

  2. Possibly Buick, Olds or Pontiac of the same year?

Thanks, but I simply can't find an image that matches this one. It has the seam towards the rear mounting section, which I just can't match up to anything. When I placed it next to a master deluxe rear, it has the same bolt pattern. It's a mystery for us!

Actually I think you're all "kinda" wrong. Sedan delivery had the fuel neck in the side of the body like some of the coupes. These are technically for the trunkless sedans, I'm sure they would probably bolt on a sedan delivery though.
