Not done yet, but something I drew up and cut on the waterjet for next weekend. Got it welded together, but still needs paint and pinstriping. Maybe I’ll remember to post the finished award next week.

1948 version
Hello,

Paul Schiefer’s 25 T-roadster was modified from the original 25 T roadster to a 27 T body roadster. There were two versions and the color was black to maroon.

When the Bean Bandits took over, the color was changed to black and attacked the drag racing scene.
Then, years later, the roadster was fully modified to a rear engine roadster.

That was an impressive feat in itself.

But, this rounded grill nose version was low, sleek and looked fast in 1952. YRMV

Something a little different this week.
I have a favorite old beat up wide brim straw hat, that I wear to events, especially if its a sunny day.
I found an easy way to help spread the news about the H.A.M.B. website.
It still amazes me about how so many car people and hot rod people don't know about the H.A.M.B.

So I took one of my firewall alliance tag's and used some simple br*** page binders and attached one to the brim of the hat. I did the same with the So-Cal emblem as well.
I saved the cardboard that the So-Cal emblem came on, and turned it into my avatar.

I love making metal art and furniture.....Made all my guys that work for me in the shop "gear guys", ring and pinion table I made for some friends and a tailgate bench for one of my other pals (that's him pictured).
