I guess that batt goes on bat again , grd will be on the casing , and where does the fld wire goes ? to1R or to 2 F ?
My car does have a voltmeter.

Sorry but electric is not my best skill and I want to be sure.

I have used this one to convert a rig (my truck) from an external regulator to a 12SI internal regulator alternator.

It should use a voltage regulator with that ford alternator now. Check the wiring at regulator, if the I wire goes on/off with the key, splice that to the F wire (at voltage regulator) and eliminate voltage regulator from the circuit. The alternator F wire can now go to terminal 1 on the GM alternator. You can use a jumper wire from the battery post to terminal 2 and it will work, there are better ways to do this wire but 1000's are done this way and work fine. If it doesn't want to shut off wired this way you'll need to add a diode to the F wire.

Please note todays edit "You can use a jumper wire from the battery post to terminal 2"
I hope I didn't confuse the issue for you.
