We tore the green roadster down...again.... and re-D/A'd the rails, got to thinking and grabbed some duct tape.

Taped up the sides and flanges of the rails and had the center sand blasted,

and those that question... Yes, it did fill the rails with sand (because of the holes), but we took the air hose of the blaster and shot air at some insane amount of pressure thru all the holes and down the inner rails....Came pretty clean.

I think the contrast came out great and will photograph very well, just just keeping it this clean for a week while we put the ch***is back together! time for the Tyvek suits and rubber gloves!!hahaha

Anyway, you're probably tired of seeing this thing, but it just looks sooo coool, man

The same would look good in paint. Shiney on the outside dull (flat) on the inside. Cool concept.

If you talked about the frame before, I missed it.

That's an interesting K-member. Mind explaining it a bit? Thanks.

Sure, it's a stock k-member with our k "x-tensions" behind it. cut the trans opening out to clear a t5, then just hand fabbed an extra crossmember that is behind the k-member which holds the rear wishbone and trans mount.
