Good news and bad news...I've had the doors annd back panel of the cab ordered from brookville since last nov, and they put it off another 3 weeks. This time they said the back stamping would be done in the next two weeks... but prior this this they had said that panel was done and were waiting for parts for the doors. So I suspect someone else got my back panel or they're all full of shit. Hoping to get my doors and back panel in a few weeks... but in reality maybe next year...

Meanwhile the cowl sides showed up today and I'm stoked!

started to strip the chassis and get ready to fit the Hemi in the Y-blocks place so I can fab motor mounts and check steering clearance. I may end up changing that-

Disappointing, but glad there's some forward movement on this one too!

I’ve been silently following, looking great. Nice to see this ‘32 again, I “built” that car about 7 years ago. I use the term built loosely as the new owner did a lot of great work to it, as the V8 and top among other things that I don’t want to take credit for.

That 32 was exceptional... Reminded me of something you would see in one of Vern Tardel's books. Nice work to everyone involved. They say a project car changes hands like five or six times before it's finished.

I believe I saw it in Colorado at the hill climb when it still had the 4 banger in it, and then at the roc with the v8. Really nice car

At the time it left my hands to the ,what I'm assuming is still the current owner, it had the B. I built it as a stock '32 with just fenders removed, juice brakes and a dropped heavy. Other than that it was all stock. Believe it or not I brush painted that black, wanted a authentic look but the brush marks self leveled and ended up looking better than I would thought. Sorry for the minor derailed conversation on your thread.

Yeah I believe it’s still the same owner.

It fits! My measurements were an inch off... I have to move my rad forward about an inch.. maybe less. I could move the hemi back one inch but it falls back into the cowl and I don't like the way it looks as much as where it is so.. I think it's gonna be tits where it is. If I ran a big block Chevy water pump this wouldn't be an issue bahahaha... but I just can't do that. It would be rude.

Bitchen! With the 32 grill and full fenders I doubt the radiator moved forward will be that noticeable.

    thanks John!

Thank Tim, yeah I think it's only a half inch forward... so yeah I don't know that it's going to matter much at all! Stoked- it looks so rad!

I'm gonna start working on the cowl next along with designing motor mounts- the mounts need lift the hemi pretty high to where it looks right. It was amazing how much the suspension dropped when I let the weight of the hemi settle onto the chassis! Then I'll box the chassis and run brake lines and stuff and then we can body work and paint this MoFo!
