    I’m on it hope ya all are in the garage.
    -1” section from cowl plus the 1.5” lip from before, I f’n LOVE it.

    fixed the stanchion risers too

    Moved the dimple up because the body sits at a slight angle and it’ll help clear the cap. the new firewall is 1/2” plywood that’ll be laminated with 1/4” aluminum plate which I’ll be able to block sand and polish and it won’t be so fragile.

    I have a plan I’m hoping works out…I’m going to cut the hole out and the router the opening with a radius and mount the dimple to the back side so I can keep the aluminum flat and polish it like a mirror.

    a couple updates-

    I sectioned the top lip that rises about 3/4 to an inch above the cowl to where it's almost flat and the chopped windshield frame sits right on top of the cowl, looks so much cleaner.
