History Cars parked near the Pentagon in 1965

  1. These cars weren't hot rods or customs yet, but I bet many of them were later in life. From the pages of Special Interest Autos, April 1985, a fascinating mix of marques. CCI10072024.jpg CCI10072024_0001.jpg

Interesting. They were and still are just cars to a lot of folks, just not us. I am sure many of those were "repurposed!" LOL:D Thanks for posting!

I love these old 'on the street" pictures of cars. I see several cars I would like to get my hands on!

  5. ....Same here. A lot of great cars there. Just wonder how many survived.

  7. Always fun to see cars like this "in the wild" from years ago when they still saw regular usage. Hope that the bath tub '51 Nash somehow managed to survive.

Those were the "good old days" when Detroit was king of the road.

When I see old photo's, I'm always checking the rides in the background (probably like must of use here). Great stuff Don, thank you!
