This car is perfect, from the era of drag cars that I really relate to, not all jacked out of proportion.
Some of the guys building those newer crop of street "g***ers" need to study this car!
But I have a feeling they would be saying "that's not a g***er", where are the whitewalls and those front wheels aren't right and it doesn't sit like it is supposed to.

On that note. Took the avatar 56 to El Segundo Ca. Driving Museum for their G***er show. They would not allow me to enter nor park near the building because they said it didn’t represent a G***er. That pissed Carina off big time. She began looking up G***ers on line and asking me questions as well. Bottom line Carins gathered enough info to give an ear full to someone that would listen and we got to park.

    Phil's Wagon copy.jpg

Phil Stevenson's wagon at Bonneville in 1972. 390" Cadilac with four 97s, slushomatic, waiting to put 18" Halibrands on -- one a Bonneville tire, the other an Indy tire, both brought along in the wagon that he drove up there from Southern California. The tires showed plies in places. He ran in the 140s.
