Nothing says phony like snap-on Moon discs.

Sorta like putting a number on the door with an impossible class designation.

    This ain't a race car.

Is someone willing to throw a set of 2.5" wide whites on this Lark for me?

Or a readily available aftermarket wheel that you think looks good. I'm open to ideas.

    Thank you...

    Hello,

Nice 5 spoke additions. I was drawing a Lark custom for a later Friday Art project and it was similar to the custom features. 5 spokes make any car look great.

Using the beige Lark, my drawing was lower in front along with the 5 spokes.

It sure needs a chop, but then, it might look like a Volvo Bertone model... YRMV

  6. Just a minor chop would look pretty good....

    Good morning everyone
I've been contemplating doing a 2" chop and do to my limited skills and paint availability I would paint everything black above the body. Can someone please show me this. IMG_1703-1.jpg

    Thanks Phil

Thanks, it looks like black would be too black. I'll have to rethink that part. But I am liking the 2" chop.

Both those options look alot better than black. It would stretch my skills to get these results but what's it's about.

    Thanks @Unclebrad and @themoose

A 3" chop would be a little more dramatic but would have me looking at the back of the wiper motor. There are obviously ways to get around that. I didn't want to go further down the rabbit hole but thereyou go.

Fantastic work by both @Unclebrad and @themoose on @Phil P's Coupe. I think Moose's slight addition to the chop and juggling of color has my thumbs up. The improvement to the overall feel with the extra bit off without being to radical. The lesser chop to me is so subtle you might not notice but to many thats why they went subtle. To me 3"ish is still subtle but it just looks right...er.

Just a couple more things to ponder having my stare fest. On the lighter roof tone. If you went side body color on the thicker belt line that may effect the feel of the look and the chop. The other thing was going upscale with a chromed windshield frame.

    Tough decisions Phil.

Hey guys, anybody want to work their magic on this old ‘36 I recently got?

Really like to see how it looks with running boards back on it. Maybe with the wheels chrome again?

    Thanks for any help!

Thought I'd remove the hood too, and show off that awesome flathead! ;-)

20241102_104143.jpg 20241102_104143.jpg I'd anyone could work up some crab or seaweed flames in a grape purple color and add Turnpike Cruiser skirts. Thinking to keep the white portion of the skirts and have flames on the rest. I'd be very grateful.
