A friend of mine just bought this pile of T parts today & is excited about getting a build happening, he's wavering between a banger & a 60's bucket.
I also gave him his first ride in a hot rod & first drive of one too :D

Think I’m gonna call this one the “Butter Banger”

  3. My recent acquisition of a Funk Model B side cover led me down a rabbit hole of history, resulting in enough original literature to create a video! I believe I own the original blueprints for the engine, but I'm currently trying to find someone in Coffeyville to confirm. Hopefully the cover comes in the mail soon!

Wicked kool Retson! Interested to see some of the other special internals. Also noticed that the engine data plaque shows 53hp output with 39mm (1.535”) venturi carb. Roughly the size of a Winfield S/SR-C. Seems a bit oversized, but who am I to argue with a FunkE engineer

  6. Not all four bangers, but my little T pops up here a few times...

Taking a short break from building wheels to make a few Winfield S/SR choke horns, but this time with the correct raised lettering! Up next is the size C choke horn:D

I’m about 2000 spokes into this summer, but the year is not over yet! It’s nice to be making something that doesn’t take up much room in the shop

Probably a dumb question, but it doesn't look like your rim has a drop center. How are you going to get a tire on there?

How many spokes per wheel? I have 80 spoke wheels on my Harley and it (as I recall) looks busier than that. I guess I could count them, but I bet you know, haha. More pictures and some details please.
