Hello, I'm in Biddeford, Maine and looking for an early Ford to Chevy V8 adapter - anyone have one somewhat locally they'd sell? I'm also looking for the B&B 10" pressure plate, or '50 Mercury pressure plate. I've had no luck finding one online...anything helps. Thank you
Why does the adapter need to be local ? There is 1 for sale on The H.A,M.B. today. Maine is a long state from top to bottom. Post what town that you are in to see if anyone local has what you want.
I just had Fort Wayne Clutch and Driveline make me a pressure plate for my 67 327 engine using a 10 1/2 inch disc and pressure plate and using the original Ford throw out bearing. The Chevy diaphragm pressure plate was hard to push so this 3 fork pressure plate should be easy to push but I have not installed it yet so I don't know the results. But I talked to Lou and he feels this will work for me. The Merc pp's are not really available anymore. F1's used the 10 inch also.
Biddeford, ME. I suppose it doesn't need to be local. I'm open to paying for shipping if the price is right.
This is great to keep in mind, please let me know how that works out. That's awesome! Pardon my asking, are you using the Chevy or Ford clutch disc to go with it?
