Besides Old Yankee Speed Co I have a a small property management and consignment company called Cardinal Services. I’ve sold quite a few cars over the last year including a handful of Model A’s Last week a local gentleman brought his late 31 Roadster for me to consign.. I hadn’t actually seen the car in person but was assured by my buddy John of Gasper’s Restoration that it was a real nice car. I took one look at the car and decided it wasn’t going anywhere. A deal was struck and I now have a 31 roadster It wasn’t exactly an opportune time to acquire another vehicle but thankfully the stars aligned. My 31 coupe found a new home with my good friend Chris of Millworks and another friend of mine Danny graciously bought a Nailhead I had on the shelf for rainy day The roadster is a two owner car with 34,000 original miles. It had one repaint at some point and spent the last few years residing in a carport. The plan is to eventually drop the body on my AV8 chassis but for now I’m just going to enjoy it.
Me too, I would live in it......screw a regular house. BTW the A is nice, those are some super straight fenders.
One of the properties I manage is Manchester Vehicle Storage. It’s an 11k sqft gymnasium located in a decommissioned armory which is now privately owned. Rather than bill for my services I have the ability to store a few of my own cars in there as well as consign vehicles at the Armory. It’s a pretty sweet deal
Nice, Looks to be an indented firewall. There is nothing like getting one that has never been apart or pieced together. Good score!!
another of those "in the right place at the right time" stories - nice to not have to go chasing one - you certainly have done due diligence to bring it all together
I'll post a build thread at some point but here is where I'm at two year's later. This car is a collaboration with Millworks Hot Rod & Old Yankee Speed Co.
