Never saw that picture before; those baby skirts on the rear fenders are really neat looking and tie right into the skirted fronts.

Wow! Never seen that but those look exactly like the first version I made, but didn’t like the way they shot out so straight on the bottom of the skirt so I redid them and put a curve in that matched the curve of the bottom bead on the cowl

So, Ford initially made the 33 Fords in the US with no skirts on the fenders. They are very rare and were changed quickly.

When production of the English 33’s started using skirts probably corresponds to the US skirts. I think the skirtless fenders (actually exactly like regular 32’s) in England were probably used until they were gone, which is the Ford way.

The skirts, top and hood gives it a very classy look.

Can’t wait to see it once the back fender(s) is done too.
Those euro fenders are cool.

 

I really like where this is headed.

Is that a 7.50 rear tire? If so, I think it could use a 7.00 rear and lowered maybe 1/2"-3/4" in the front...but that's just my opinion and you know what that is worth.

Working on it. Doing bodywork/paint prep. Won’t be much until it’s all painted. Once the parts are all blocked out and taken off for primer they aren’t going back on until after paint

 

Heres some random pics of whats been going on. Unfortunately the other day my motor started making lifter noise , so in between this pimer and paint it’s getting another engine . This one is fairly tired anyways .

 

Were I to ever go the skirt route it would include the 33 Pontiac type factory scalloped details

 

The front fender looks nice, well done pursuing your vision!

 

I scored a matched set of national flippers. They were too shallow so I ditched the inners and made my own. Now they fit a 40 ford wheel and with both mounting lips they feel super solid. Here’s some pics.

Love single bar flippers, those are going to look great sparkling while moving down the road.
