Glad to hear your engine issues are subdued. Hope you have some points grease on the rubbing block.
The little red capsule of it used to come with the points in every box.

Street tires aren't really related to how fast you're allowed to run, per NHRA rules. I think some drag strips kind of ignore some safety stuff if you're on street tires, but then there are a few cars that run really really quick with them....and they have to meet all the safety rules to do so on this event

Yeah, it's a 9.90 Corvette. In the eighth. Pretty slow!

We made it home! yay. We were going to visit the Trinity site at White Sands, it's the day of the annual open house. When we got there half an hour before the gate opens at 8am, there was already a line of cars almost two miles long ahead of us, and we know how long it takes gov't facilities to issue passes for that many people/cars...so we bailed, and drove home.

It rained on us for a while, but the car didn't leak much.

  11. Years ago my mom found one of those capsules in the breast pocket of a jacket I used to wear in the garage. She confronted me about it thinking I was on drugs :D

I laughed and told her to take it then let me know how quickly it slid through her :p
