Technical Tire options for '33/34 17" wheels

What are folks using for tires on '33/34 Ford 17" wheels that would be similar to the "Firestone Deluxe Champion" tires commonly used on the 16" wheels?

The popular 16" sizes being:
- Front: 500/525-16 (OD 26-26.5")
- Rear: 750-16 (OD 31")

I'm having trouble finding an appropriately sized matching set with an appropriate tread and sidewall style for a hot rod. TBH, they could even be something like the Excelsior radials that some folks use instead of the bias-plies.

 

Nobody with a '33 or 34 is running the 17" wires on a hot rod? Folks are only running the 18s from '32 and 16s from '35/36?

Maybe a change in thread title will help.

 

Not really what you asked but I’m “running” these 7.00-17 Excelsiors and 5.00-17 dirt trackers on my single seat car. Not much help other than they are 17s…
