Fall is here and the smell of burning leaves and burning rubber are in the air in Orlando Florida This Friday and Saturday October 28th and 29th is our annual Florida Dragstrip Riot at Orlando Speedworld. 2 days of nostalgia drag racing and old car gathering. all the info can be found at https://www.floridadragstripriot.com/ We have a few special tricks up our sleeve this time around, including Grand Marshal Jerry Gwynn (with his son Darrel tagging along), and a host of other notable locals. Captain Jack will be once again bringing his jet powered go cart, to blast down the track. He’s 95 years old!!! And…our very own lovable HAMB’r Don Moyer coming all the way from Cleveland, with his famous Rebel Reaper Gasser and many others too. Hope some of you locals and snow birds, visiting from up north can attend. Weather is absolutely beautiful. JT
I plan to attend but not with my truck like before. I haven't been in a while and I'm looking forward to it.
