Mercury/Lincoln Question

What are the similarities and/or differences between 49-51 Mercs and Lincolns of the same era? Cosmopolitan for instance. And what is a "baby Lincoln"?

I can see the obvious difference in the front quarters. But were these "sister" vehicles during this era?

Baby Lincolns are the same body shell as Mercs, but the nose is about 6 inches longer, as with the frame. From the fire wall back same. Cosmos are completely different.. P S I have a 51 baby Lincoln Hood, and front fenders, NICE. CHEAP!!!!!!!......OLDBEET
