This car is interesting to me. When in High School my buddy had a 55 Chevy post car, Don't ask the trim level, because we probably didn't even know then what it was, anyway the car was yellow with green flames. We had a local drag racer guy help us put a big block in it. Also a 4spd car. Had a 3 point roll bar in it. we had to cut the firewall just like this car to clear the rear carb on the tunnel ram. I've never seen another one cut like that. My Dad radiused the rear wheel wells for him. He bent conduit tubing over the tires and then split it and gas welded it to the quarters. He could weld, never buckled the quarters. I think he even matched the yellow for him and spotted it in. We lost contact after High School. I found him on Facebook about 5 years ago. I asked him about the 55 with no response. I asked again later about the car. He told me he sold the motor to a guy to put in a boat, and sold the body to another guy. That's all he said. he disappeared shortly after that never to be seen or heard from again. It looks like this car could use a spring in the upper radiator hose.
