What could be more perfect? A shop dog, a bunch of buddies, AND a suitcase of PBR and Fat Tire.

The upholstery looks great! How did he attach the roll at the top to the body? Stapled or nailed to the wood and then hidem to cover it?

Staples into the wood I built. Trim guy couldn’t get hidem the same color as the material so he made his own and stapled it thru the stitched seam. I can see the staples so I bought some satin brown paint that I will carefully dab and hopefully make them be a little less noticeable.

Very nice! It looks comfortable with good lumbar support.
I think you picked a great color and the style fits the build really well.
I cant wait to see it in person at the GNRS.
How about a pic with you in it.

Any recommendations from the trimmer about the wood strip? Should it be tall or short? Inset or flush?

I’ll need to make a couple for the T touring I’m building and want to make it easier for the trimmer to get best results.

If you go back to page 14 of this build thread you can see how I made mine. Very time consuming with a lot of pieces glued together and then sand sand sand. I’m a trim carpenter by trade so it wasn’t a big deal for me.

We had to take the generator back to the shop that changed it over to 12v as it was making some noise. Since it is off I thought I would make a stainless cover I’m getting it roughed out. I know I can buy one of these covers but what fun would that be? B07CA074-277B-4A5C-9D12-41E0A19DF17D.jpeg 8979B277-6C35-42BA-ACAA-7EEF3C30FB21.jpeg
