BY THE NUMBERS: This 1962 Buick Special wagon has been completely redone...since this was a ColoRODo car all its life - only minor bodywork was done. All new brake shoes. The drums turned -new steel brake lines front and rear, plus rubber hoses front. New master cylinder. New shocks front and rear. Gas tank removed/cleaned/sealed, new aluminum fuel lines. Rebuilt starter. All new interior of fabric and vinyl on rebuilt seats. New headliner. New door panels on plastic panel board - NOT cardboard. New carpet with jute padding underlayment and Thermo-tech sound deadener under that. New door rubber, new tailgate rubber (tailgate window rolls easily) Dash and all trim painted to match body color. Instrument cluster cleaned. Stock Buick push button radio installed. NOT wired. Body is two-toned with GM Bright White paint and Mazda Mango Tango paint - BC/CC and polished. Bodywork was done correctly-- stripped to bare metal, epoxy primed, block sanded twice, sealer applied under Mango Tango and entire car clear coated after paint. The area around the side windows has been painted Satin Black ala new cars. Spare tire area cleaned and painted. 15" Bias Ply whitewall tires/wheels, small hubcaps. All glass is good, however it could use a new windshield gasket (the original has been 'sealed' with urethane so it doesn't leak) and new vent seals. The car has a V6 with 57K on it, and a three-speed column shifted stick. it runs well and does not smoke. We did not pull the engine, just cleaned it. New exhaust has been added. New One wire alternator added Carb has been rebuilt. Both motor mounts replaced. New U-Joint carrier bearing installed. Radiator recored New thermostat
