Wow, 30 posts already and it's only 8.45am here in OZ.

Here's my effort, though I don't think it can compete with Rollies panel jam pic.
It's a Harley clutch cover, engraved entirely by hand. No machines. Took the pic at an angle and then photoshopped back round. That's why the bolt holes look out of whack.

Blackie, manohmanohmanohman!!!! Your work never ceases to amaze me.... Tingler, your stuff, week after week is just incredible... natas, your skills with a lens are unreal, and Toyghoul, that's killer.
As always, great show and work everyone!
I submit the following pinup (at the printers for a few test shirts)...

here's a few pics of a ceramic piece that i did my freshman year of college...got me best of show! you might be thinking it's OT but i used 93' of 1/8 pinstriping to mask it out. as you can see, the design wraps around the entire piece, made to look like it was flat and then stretched to the shape that is is.

Wow... really nice stuff everybody! Blackie-- that one's awesome! Jigger... is it just me or has your skills really gotten better over the last couple weeks? (Not that it was bad before... just better now!) Tingler... those tikis are really cool... I'm really starting to dig them! Janne-- I look forward to your stuff every week.

Here's my submission for the week. This was a commissioned piece for HAMBer Chandler. The car used to belong to his dad-in-law, who p***ed away a couple years ago... hence the cross.

I picked up the brush for the first time in a couple of months and did my rusty old three dollar swap meet toolbox.

    Thatch,

Hammer and chisel for the outline. Pushgraver for the shading and a 3 faceted punch for the stippling.

I am going to guess this was for a evangelical handout for a church?

I love the 32 roadster by the way.

    Close. Pretty good guess.
Re: '32---Thanks sometimes you gotta put it down on paper so it doesn't get lost in your head.

Wow - a lot of great stuff on here this week! Lo Cab and Black Baron, I really enjoy those illustrations, watercolors?
Flying Polock takes the cake again this week. I really enjoy the monochrome work on the car but the loud colors of the pinup - nice juxtaposition! p.s.- When will those t-shirts be available?

I know what you mean. We're trying to pay for our hobby in small ways and we don't make much money off our art. Letting people know where to buy it feels sleazy, but it's also kinda necessary. At least it's not spamming for stocks and nigerian banks.. ;)

While I could do it myself, when I get my Falcon done, I want to buy some of your Tiki artwork for it. That stuff is rad!
