Hey all, I'm wondering if a Thunderbird or Fairlane headlight bezel would fit in a 52-53 Victoria? I really like the brows.
I had let my project sit for years and I'm finally pushing to finish it up before the end of the year.

No, the later bezels will not fit. Different mountings. 55-56-57 are all the same, Tbird and sedan.

Searched the world for a 56-like-bezel in STEEL for my 56 that I could weld in....no luck!

56 Oldsmobile are the best for most customizers.

are you missing your originals? I thought those were the ones people use to tunnel headlights?

Jimmy Six - they're pot metal too...wanna welded them to the fender...saw a lead/solder thing - but too iffy for me.

My car is complete, and I even have a pair of 54's but those have a bulge on the sides to match the '54 fenders that I didn't realize when I had purchased them. The bezels mount to the headlight buckets. Tab on top, and a screw goes into a tab on the bottom like a speed nut. Would then a 55+ headlight bucket not contain the two mounting points for the bezel?

In the 60’s we cut off the fender back a foot and used what we needed to graft on to the Ford fender; then used the Olds bucket and trim door. The top of the fender was really what made look good. Today with battery grinders it would be ez. I had to buy both fenders then..

How about some of the aftermarket trim rings that were offered by J.C. Whitney?

That would be cool too. Do you have a part number? I've also been on the lookout for a floor shift kit for the Borg Warner R-10 w/OD.

I’m pretty sure I have a set of the second and third one down in the middle row, I may consider parting with them.

Those accessory hooded ones have been showing up and sell for like 350.00.

What you have there is pot metal or aluminum, can’t weld that either.
