  5. He does great work. I’ve been watching him for a while, some of the damage he brings in looks unrepairable but he metal finishes it to perfection. Funny also….

    Very good, thank you. I don't know if anyone has noticed in all my posts about welding, I've always stressed "constant speed and constant motion". This guy has it down pat.

    He does it without many fancy tools other than the tig. Notice he heats metal with a propane torch and sands his welds with a drill. He doesn't have a big air compressor either.

    This is what the HAMB is about simplicity do it yourself if possible and help others that cannot.

    He is (or was) on the HAMB. I think his handle is 66gmc. I have learned quite a bit from his videos. He doesn’t necessarily repeat the explanation on certain techniques, so it is best to start with the oldest videos first. And the early videos were more factual, with less humor added in

    I made 2 welders 30 someting years ago...took a while to get them to work,.. but now they are awesome

    they're not pre 64 though

    I like how he went thru and actually recorded exactly all the work that goes into the metal finishing to this stage. Most vids pass over that and then.....ta dah.....its done. Good video!

    I believe worked in a high end body shop at one time. He's in Saskatoon and does awesome work. Inspirational guy...

    He is pretty talented and entertaining as well. Helps me want to get started chopping and fixing rust on my Merc.
