Figure il start this up today, on this chilly morning.

Building a Shop truck, so i grabbed a 59 elky from my shelf and went to town. Made a trailer for it from br*** square tubing. Built a tire rack for the slicks for the bed of the elky. Weathered up the tire rack 2 days ago, need to finishup the decal weathering. The wood plank is balsa wood and the nails are br*** rod.

I haven't built a model in about 5-6 years but I got the itch this week. I picked up this 1/16 kit and decided to build a Hotrod. I don't have any other 1/16th parts so I just have to use what it came with and try to build some stuff. I just mocked it up. I like it but, I think I wanna drop the front a bit. I have to chop it too.
Does anbody know if there are any aftermarket 1/16th parts?? Like wheels,tires and engines.

 

my dad had this model when he was 12. i changed it up slightly.

 

NICE !!!There is some 1/16 scale aftermarket stuff but not much. I love those minicraft kits !!!
