These two pressure gauges are from my personal collection but are superfluous to my needs and could use a new home. Both gauges appear to have seen little to no use and originate from the WW 2 era. I’ve stored these gauges since the early sixties and they have always been in a dry, if not climate controlled, environment. I have tested them with what equipment I have available and, as far as I can tell, they are reasonably accurate. The first gauge is a flange mount, chrome or stainless bezel, cast case, 0-400 psi, and manufactured by the Duro Gauge and Instrument Co. Inc. of Brooklyn, NY. The flange has no “witness” marks indicating it may have never been mounted but the fitting appears to have some pipe wrench “dings” so it may have been put to use at some point. Aside from some greasy fingerprints, there are no other markings. The second gauge mounts by the phenolic or bakelite body with 3 screws and may have been in use for a short period of time. It seems to have some small marks at the mounting holes but the fitting is unmolested. This gauge is 0-300 psi with a “tell-tale” preset at 150 psi and was manufactured by the Champion Gauge Co. of New York City. On the gauge face there is a handwritten number, “2-674.” On the reverse side are 3 markings: a stamped number “3”, a stamped number “20”, and a stamped date “FEB 27 1945.” The price is $45.00 for both gauges including Priority Mail shipping.
