    How did the discount work? Any idea how much you saved with the alliance membership?

    I just ordered a few sets of tires 3 weeks ago, and they showed up 4 days later. Excellent service. Hamb Alliance members are very well treated both with service and pricing.

    Mine was a little difficult. The first time I tried to order the guy could not find my info... said he would call me right back, but never did. Well, the next day I called in to try again and it went smooth. I talked to Matthew at ext 241 and he got it done. My order went from $501.80 to $443.76!

    Edit: Called and the fronts are still not in, but still show Oct 12th for due date... Oh well. Not going to be driving any time soon.

    Alliance = Discounts!

  7. Don't know about Coker, but I bought a set of slicks from Hurst and delivered them to me at bakersfield. Tires look good and service was outstanding. Plus I saved 15% as an Alliance member. Cool.

    As far as discount... from what I heard my salesman say, it was their wholesale discount. The same deal as if a shop would buy from them. Knowing the aftermarket like I do, they probably have multiple levels of deals depending on how much an account buys.

  11. Here is the breakdown, BTW this Chris at Coker is very helpful.
    I bought 2, Firestone 750-16 normal price $126 I paid $112.14, 2 Firestone 600-16 normal price $106 I paid $94.3, 4 tubes normally $12.95 I paid $10.95.
    I saved a total of $58.94.
    No discount on shipping I also had to pay tax since I live in Cali.

    Yep, simply tell them you are an alliance member... They have your username and the adress your tag was sent to on record to verify...

  18. Not so simple, they double check your "Real" name and address, so not just anybody gets the discount, you acctually have to join the alliance.

  19. Glad to see everyone making good use of the discount. Maybe I should join the alliance and get some tires.:D :D

    I bought my Firestones ( by Coker Tire ) waay before I became an HAMB Alliance member ( Bought them from that most excellent Hot Rodder named Mike Fors in Sweden ... :) )
    The fact that those early styled Firestone tires can be bought in `06 is waaay beyond COOL ...
    Thanx goes to Coker tire from us scandinavians !!!
    Klaz:)
