I think saw four or five Packards yesterday. I'll see if I can add some (if I have any more) of those pics here. *edit*:

It always amazes me how the stainless trim, and sometimes the chrome plated steel parts have survived to this day, still fully useable. There was this '62 Fury(?), which has much of the trim remaining:

Of course. Never been a problem there. :D

Parking light trim rings from a '55 Chrysler (maybe Imperial?), C-pillar emblems from a '59(?) Lincoln, headlight trim rings from an OT German car, clear glass parking light lenses from a '53(?) Ford delivery van, and a rough but gorgeous hood ornament from an early '50s Cadillac:

Here's the Cadillac donor hood as I found it:

Grille from a Jeep-based mail truck:

As I was passing a Ford van, the corner of my eye caught a glimpse of an Olds 215 valve cover, as my heart skipped a beat or two... alas, it was a '62 2-bbl engine. :( I still got a dipstick, P/S pump bracket, and both spark plug wire loom brackets from it, but it was an automatic, too, so no flywheel for me.

Lastly, an engine cover for a Thames van. I just like the shape, and I'll likely never come across one again, so...:
