4 bar front! A bit wider than most, (27?) headers fit inside the frame rails!

Old airstrip at an abandoned Army base in NY .
TOP-SECRET VINTAGE DRAGS put on last Sept by North East Vintage Drags organization. It was a blast with a bunch of great cars. No attitudes and heads up 1/8 mile racing on the old airstrip.

i sure would like to see another view of this one. i wonder if the shadow and lighting are altering the look of the body contour. anyway, i'll keep my eyes open. that's olds power, yes?

Didn't a T Roadster build by Car Craft have coil springs on all 4 corners? Corvair coils if I recall correctly. I was almost sure I had a "how to build it" book but the last time I looked for it I couldn't find it. Hm-m-m, maybe I never even had the book? Seems the car on the cover was yellow?o_O

that was their second build. the first one (this) was built at the end of '64 into the first part of 1965. and the coil spring one was a few years later- '67. i have most or all the mag issues from the second and a few from the first. they both had cragar s/s wheels so that initially threw me.

also, yeah peterson did re-print the series a couple of times and the car was yellow. also it had dual quads whereas this obviously is 3x2.

  24. I think it may take more than a pair of T doors to call it something in particular. JW

Love the Ardun powered T, I think it may have been in a Rod and Custom, maybe one of the quarterly issues?
