Pics of my 32 Henry cabriolet hiboy—-headed to NewZealand and new owners. Painted SAGE (light green) no clear as I prefer flat style paint(low maintainance) driven daily in s.Texas year around—washed 5–6 times in three years useage—looked the same clean or dirty.Flatheads Forever!!!
Saw this killer kick ass Chevy wagon down at the "ESTRANGED" Drags in Toutle Washington last Saturday. 8/17/2024 Now this is some amazing green ! This very cool 32 Ford, was a very subtle shade of green as well, at the same event.
I know this is an old post but does anyone know what green this is? I have a 50 chieftan and this looks similar to what is on it. Thanks
Hello, When we saw this terrific green Chevrolet pick up one morning. Green is not the paint color that is seen on most hot rods, let alone current road cars. But the finish on this old Chevy truck was pretty nice. The chrome wheels and blackwall tires made it look like the 60s custom trucks from our old 20 something cruising time and So Cal coastal area. Most trucks at the time were work force trucks, so, my thoughts went right to this old pickup truck we had seen many months earlier, perhaps a couple of years ago. It was sitting by the side of the road for weeks earlier in our coastal cruises. So, the old patina looked as if the salt air was winning on all counts. But, the new whitewall tires made it look nicer than with worn out tires. Jnaki After several side trips, weeks later into the coastal neighborhood, the old Chevy truck disappeared. Perhaps the sign on the door was calling it back home… to the cold PNW. or, it got a complete makeover and came out smelling like Spring time Roses… and a nice green paint… YRMV
