kinda proud how this is turning out so i thought i'd show it off, 29 ford roadster took 2 bodies and built with the best parts, stock boxed and z'd frame super bell dropped axle 48 square back spindles with buick 45 fin drums, t rear spring.64 327 11to1 vette pistons, double humps with 2.02, 1.60's bullet cam and lifters forgot specs but around 292 duration. early edelbrock finned covers, edelbrock 3x2 intake with 57 olds j-2 carbs and of course the trusty rams horns. borg warner t-10 4 speed 9 inch 350 gears check out the shifter handle hurst yo-yo yes i cut up a 3 speed shifter for the handle. early cadillac heater, and a 1928 Paige roadster dash filled with wings gauges home built fuel tank with early MG fuel filler in brass 37 truck column and column drop.........enough said i hope it's traditional enough hot rust
Hey I didn't live too far from you till a few years ago.....in fact on my regular runs to Memphis to hit junkyards I used to go through marked tree. Called it the two burgs and a tree route because marked tree, waldenburg and Harrisburg lol
yep used to be a junkyard at payneway, ab blaylock, did you happen to visit there? where exactly did you live? and yes it fits pretty good now after many hours of assembly
I hit upullit on Watkins. Figured out the reason everyone called that route the "long way" was because there was more hills and curves. My car took a tight turn like a straight so for me it was a 3 hour drive to Memphis lol. I lived in mountain view near Batesville
used to stay at st james quite often in the 80's deer hunted mondays point still make it to mtn view several times a year
Just remember to do all needed shopping before going into stone county. Lol. Even in Clinton or Leslie stuff is significantly cheaper. Batesville is a lot cheaper. We actually briefly owned a house in st James
